Delphine Preissmann studied psychology at the University of Geneva where she obtained a postgrad degree (Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies) in cognitive and experimental psychology. In 2009, she obtained her PhD in neuroscience from the Universities of Lausanne and Geneva.

Delphine Preissmann works as replacement Professor and responsible of research at the Institute of Psychology and at the Center for Psychiatric Neurosciences in the University of Lausanne. She teaches cognitive psychology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and neurosciences at the University of Lausanne.

Her research focuses on memory and behavior and their underlying brain correlates. At Agalma Foundation, she studies memory traces plastic changes depending on somatic state.
